Meet Our Team
The people you’ll actually be working with
Whatever brought you here — anxiety, a life change, questions about your identity, something you've been carrying quietly for a while — you'll work with a licensed psychologist who has training and experience treating it.
FOUNDER
Practice Owner
Dr. Sean Dodge, PsyD
(He/Him)
Licensed Psychologist, Practice Owner
Sean has been drawn to this work since middle school, when friends first started confiding in him and he realized how much he valued being someone people could turn to. That curiosity about people — what they carry, what they don’t say out loud — has stayed with him ever since. He works primarily with young adults and adults managing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, trauma, people-pleasing patterns, and body image or self-esteem struggles, and he especially enjoys helping clients work through major life decisions in focused, short-term work.
Anxiety Trauma & PTSD Self-Esteem
Approach: Warm, playful, and collaborative, with an outcome-driven style grounded in research-based, relatively short-term treatment. Sean blends self-exploration and insight with specific interventions aimed at real, everyday change — and he’s upfront that his goal is to “get fired” when his clients get better.
Outside of work: Snowboarding, paddleboarding, mountain biking, hiking, camping, and spending time with his dog, Niko.
Credentials: Training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); board member of the Central Oregon Association of Psychologists (COAP); former training director of an APA-accredited internship program.
Nicole Kelly Gregory
(She/Her)
Practice Manager
Nicole is often the first person you'll connect with when you reach out to Blue Skies. She knows that taking the first step toward mental health support can feel daunting, and she works to make that process as approachable as possible — offering a supportive presence throughout your time with the practice.
Behind the scenes, Nicole manages the practice's daily operations, including provider credentialing, insurance billing, waitlist management, and scheduling, so the clinical team can focus fully on client care. Patient advocacy matters deeply to her — she's the person who helps clients navigate insurance benefits, secure authorizations for care, and resolve billing or insurance issues with clarity and care.
Outside of work: Originally from the Northeast, Nicole now lives in Central Florida and works remotely with the team. When she's not supporting clients or staff, she's likely out in her garden with her dogs.
Licensed psychologists, each with their own approach
Couples & Relational Work
Dr. Christine Gieben, PsyD (She/Her)
Psychologist
Connection and belonging are at the center of Christine's work — both what happens when we have them, and what it feels like when we don't. She works primarily with couples and adults navigating relational struggles, helping clients understand their own patterns and make choices that build toward more connection, not less.
Areas of Focus
Couples Therapy Relationship Issues Trauma & PTSD
Approach: Warm, direct, and collaborative, blending Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with Internal Family Systems (IFS) work. Christine brings humor and playfulness into sessions alongside honesty, and sometimes takes walks with clients as a way of processing emotional material. She's upfront that the work is hers to guide but not hers to do for you — real change takes real commitment.
Outside of work: Biking, hiking, skiing, and paddleboarding with her partner and friends.
Credentials: Certified in Emotionally Focused Therapy; Level 1 IFS (Internal Family Systems) Therapist.
Couples & Relational Work
Dr. Kim Stewart, PhD, ABPP (She/Her)
Psychologist Resident
Kim believes people are inherently good and doing their best to manage life's difficulties. Her expertise is in relationships — with self, others, and the world — and she works primarily with couples and individuals struggling with their sense of self, their relationships, or difficult family-of-origin experiences.
Areas of Focus
Couples Therapy Self-Esteem Relationship Issues
Approach: Warm, collaborative, and well-informed, Kim draws primarily from interpersonal therapy and systems theory, along with other approaches shaped to fit each client or couple. She sees clients as the experts on their own experience, while she brings expertise in relational process and psychological health — together, building a shared language for empathy, compassion, and lasting change.
Outside of work: Travel, cooking, time in nature, and moments of collective joy.
Credentials: Board Certified Couple & Family Psychologist (American Board of Professional Psychology / ABPP).
Identity-Affirming & Neurodivergent care
Dr. Alex Benton, PsyD (She/Her)
Licensed Psychologist
Alex works with clients age 14 and up, with particular focus on LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent clients, chronic health conditions and disabilities, and life transitions like perimenopause and menopause. She's also completed specialized training in letter writing for gender-affirming care. What keeps her in this work is watching clients identify their own goals and find real contentment as they get there.
Areas of Focus
Neurodivergence Chronic Health Issues LGBTQ+ Affirming Care
Approach: Warm, direct, semi-structured, and curious, with a good sense of humor. Alex shapes her approach around each client rather than expecting clients to fit a fixed mold, drawing from ACT, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care.
Outside of work: Reading, weightlifting, hiking, and spending time with loved ones.
Identity-Affirming care
Dr. Mary Marchetti, PhD (She/Her)
Licensed Psychologist
Mary practices relational, justice-oriented therapy rooted in the belief that each person is the expert of their own life. Originally drawn to the field through her own lived experience, a background in addiction research, and political education, she works largely with young adults, college students, and LGBTQIA+ clients navigating identity, perfectionism, and people-pleasing patterns.
Areas of Focus
LGBTQ+ Affirming Care Identity Exploration Perfectionism
Approach: Present, empathic, and flexible, with an emphasis on autonomy and authenticity. Mary works as a collaborator rather than a neutral observer, and grounds her practice in harm reduction, anti-oppressive education, neurodivergent-affirming care, and Health At Every Size (HAES) principles.
Outside of work: Time with her two cats and loved ones, rock climbing, strength training, and browsing estate sales.
Credentials: Member of the American Psychological Association and the Climate Psychology Alliance of North America.
Identity-Affirming care
Dr. Emi Burish, PsyD (She/Her)
Licensed Psychologist
Emily was first drawn to psychology through research, wanting to better understand people's experiences and what actually helps people heal. She works as a generalist across a range of concerns, with particular focus on queer and trans clients and those navigating grief and loss.
Areas of Focus
LGBTQ+ Affirming Care Grief & Loss Life Transitions
Approach: Warm, insight-oriented, and collaborative, with frequent check-ins to name what a client is feeling in the moment. Emily helps clients look at the patterns — both external and internal — that may not be serving their wellbeing, using an unstructured, flexible approach shaped around each client.
Outside of work: Hiking, gardening, board games, Dungeons & Dragons, live theatre, and concerts.
Self Esteem & Stress Management
Dr. Brian Evans, PhD (He/Him)
Licensed Psychologist
Brian was drawn to psychology through a fascination with human behavior — how people get stuck, and what actually helps them move forward. He works with adults across the lifespan, especially those who are skeptical of the therapy process or have been trying to work through something on their own for a while.
Areas of Focus
Self-Esteem & Self-Compassion Anxiety Stress Management
Approach: Warm, humorous, friendly, and supportive — clients can expect a mix of being challenged, supported, and advocated for. Brian believes the relationship with your therapist is the most important part of treatment, more than any specific technique.
Outside of work: Trail running, mountain biking, and walking his two dogs.
Credentials: Training in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia; sport/performance psychology and health psychology training.
