Oregon Licensed Psychologist
About Me
I am a Psychology Resident in Oregon and a Licensed Psychologist in Minnesota. I am Board Certified in Couple & Family Psychology, with more than a decade of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. Throughout my career, I have provided therapy in community mental health, private practice, corrections, and VA hospitals, giving me experience working with clients across a wide range of backgrounds and presenting concerns.
I have specific interest and expertise in couple and family relationships, sexual health, and religion and spirituality (including religious trauma). I integrate current research and evidence-based practices into my work while remaining responsive to each client’s unique story and goals.
In my free time, I love travel, nature, reading, and cooking. I enjoy live events and finding moments of collective joy!
How I Work
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and relational. I primarily draw from narrative therapy and family systems theories, viewing problems as mechanisms shaped by relationships and systems. Together, we explore the patterns, stories, and contexts that influence your life while identifying new ways of moving toward healing and growth.
At the heart of my work is the belief that people are inherently good and are doing the best they can with the resources, relationships, and circumstances available to them. Therapy offers a space to better understand those circumstances, strengthen existing resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.
